“It’s amazing to watch how much progress the kids make from one week to the next. They grow and change right before your eyes.”
8:30 a.m. Off to PE! It’s a great way to start the day with running, skipping and movement.
9:30 a.m. We go to the Spanish room, where kids sing songs and play games, all in Spanish.
10:30 a.m. We do a group lesson—usually a language, math or science activity. Today we talked about the five senses.
11 a.m. In Global Studies, we’re “traveling” to different countries. We’re on the continent of North America and went to Mexico today. One of our team members is from Mexico, so they brought in some books and things to share about her country.
12 p.m. Pick-up time for half-day students. Full-day students have lunch and then rest time.
1:45 p.m. Outside playtime
2:15 p.m. Closing meeting, where we talk about what we did today and preview what we’ll do tomorrow.
