Our name may say La Jolla, but we’re located in University City, one of the region’s most vibrant locales. Our beautiful 24-acre campus is adjacent to the University of California San Diego as well as a stop for the city’s newest trolley line.
LJCDS is San Diego’s only independent school to house students from age 3 to Grade 12 on one campus. This means that every day, students walk by either who they were or who they will become.
LJCDS is in the heart of what’s known as the Golden Triangle—San Diego’s innovation hub. We’re surrounded by high-tech, biotech and clean-tech companies as well as research institutes.
Our location makes it easy for families all over the San Diego region to access our campus—from La Jolla to North County to Coronado and beyond. We also offer eight bus routes, which students can use on a full-time, part-time or occasional basis.
